The generator is of the independent two bearing design, with a shaft extension suitable for direct drive. Equipped with PMG for 300% short circuit protection, 240V single phase space heaters, terminal connector stand-offs in outlet boxes, 100% solid epoxy vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) including rotor and stator iron. Six (6) RTD’s imbedded in stator winding, two per phase, 100 ohm platinum, and two (2) bearing RTD’s, one per bearing, 100 ohm platinum. Class “F” winding insulation; Class “B” temperature rise by RTD. Exciter data: Field amps: 7.1; Field volts: 100; PMG volts: 240; PMG Hz.: 180. Equipped with top mounted filter housing; (2) air ducts w/silencer; and (2) terminal boxes.
