Caterpillar C18 Diesel Generator Set
A company in the Caribbean had a damaged generator set and needed to replace it quickly because the main source for utility power in the Caribbean is generator sets. It was difficult to remove the old generator on the small island because a large forklift or crane was not available, so a large earth mover was used. IMP Latin America successfully delivered the new C18 generator set rated at 600kW, 60Hz, 208V, 1800RPM. It was installed properly with the available equipment.
