IMP Corporation was contacted by a Canadian midstream company looking for an onsite power solution for their upcoming natural gas treatment facility which is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2023. IMP’s Centaur 50 turbine was the perfect fit for the midstream project. However, since the launch date was well into the future. additional attention had to be paid not only to confirmation of the current working condition of the power plant, but also to securely repackage and safely store it needed. IMP engaged its partners at solar Turbines to both inspect and confirm condition, in addition to properly seal and weather proof the equipment until it was needed. On schedule with the clients’ time frame, the equipment was packaged and delivered to the new natural gas treatment facility in Canada.
