February 19, 2018 – IMP is proud to announce its sponsorship of the First Republic of Armenia Conference being held in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the first Republic of Armenia. The academic conference, being held at California State University Northridge (CSUN), will provide an in-depth examination of the re-emergence of Armenian statehood in 1918 through 1920 and will feature renowned scholars from across the globe. “It is a duty and privilege to sponsor the conference,” stated IMP founder & chairman, Harry Nadjarian. “The significant impact of the First Republic still echoes in Armenian communities around the world, but also provides unique lessons to broader geopolitical communities, so I feel it’s a discussion that should be shared with everyone.” For decades, Mr. Nadjarian has been an unyielding philanthropist to the Armenian community and was quick to offer his support to this timely symposium.
The Armenian Revolutionary Federations (ARF), Western United States (ARF-WUS), in collaboration with the CSUN Armenian Studies Program, has organized this two-day conference “Armenian Statehood Reborn: Achievements and Reflections.” The conference is being held in CSUN’s Plaza del Sol Hall on May 5th and 6th. For more information, please visit https://the1strepublic.org/.
