Javier Barahona has been hired as the Director of International Sales of Industrial Motor Power Corp, a global provider of power plants and power generation equipment.
LOS ANGELES, Jan 22, 2020 – Javier Barahona has been hired as the new Director of International Sales for the Miami, Florida office of Industrial Motor Power Corporation which is headquarters in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s international project development initiatives.
Barahona joins IMP with more than 20 years of oil & gas, and power generation experience, which includes 14 years spent with SoEnergy International working in business development throughout Latin America. Â Having generated more than $1 Billion in sales and developed power projects exceeding 700MW throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East, Barahona brings a wealth of knowledge from around the world.

Already based in Miami, Florida, Barahona most recently served as Director of Business Development for SoEnergy Internation, Inc. Prior to that, Barahona worked for International Power Traders which has since been acquired by IMP and renamed IMP Latin America. Before that, he served as an application engineer for GECOLSA Caterpillar in Bogota, Colombia.
